What's the difference between a Website Package and the Custom-builds you offer?

A Website Package starts with your choice of pre-designed template. We then make the website yours by incorporating your logo and making font and colour changes. We can create either a one-page website with sections or a multi-page site, depending on your needs. The website pricing provides you with a clear starting point for your project.  Need greater customisation?  Then the Custom Built Website Package is the one for you.  The website pricing is flexible to cater for your budget.

If you want us to design a website from the ground up, then we can do that too!  Contact us for a custom quote.

Can I add extra features not included in the standard websites?

Not a problem!

In that case, opt for the Custom Built Package, and we can add in the extra features you’re after and price it up for you. Whether it’s a landing page, e-commerce integration, an animated slideshow – or anything else – you name it, and we will do our best to make it happen!

Will I be able to make changes to my website?

The short answer is that it depends!

Your monthly fee covers site maintenance and content management, so unless you indicate otherwise, we usually restrict your access to things like your blog page.  This is because the likelihood of bringing down your entire website is extremely high unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

We can talk about your particular requirements and ensure that we cater for your individual needs.

If I opt for a website design package, can you add a shop?

Absolutely – we can integrate e-commerce into any of our website packages.  When you contact us, just mention that you want an online store included, and we’ll price it up for you.

What is the management fee for?

The management fee covers site maintenance and content management.

As discussed in the FAQ below, if you opt out of our management service, then we charge an hourly rate of NZD 90 to fix any issues that arise.

Our maintenance service includes all of the following tasks:

  • Ensuring that your theme and plugins are regularly updated.
  • Attending to WordPress updates.
  • Amending/updating/adding to existing website content.
  • Fixing any issues that arise which are not due to user error.
  • Ensuring the website performance and speed is at optimal levels.
Can I opt out of the management fee and do it all myself instead?

The answer to this question depends on whether you have experience in this area.  

This is because the likelihood of bringing down your entire website is extremely high unless you know exactly what you’re doing.  If you opt out of the website management fee, and things go wrong that you then need us to fix, our hourly rate of NZD 90 applies.

Are your package websites responsive?

Rest assured, all Word2Art websites are fully responsive.  Your website will look fabulous no matter what screen size it’s viewed on.

What is Organic SEO and why is it important?

Organic search engine optimisation (“SEO”) involves employing techniques that grow your SEO rating over time.  We Search Engine Optimise all website pages (but not individual posts and images).  However, it’s important to note that good SEO relies heavily on great dynamic content.  So it’s advisable to update your content regularly.  One great way to achieve this is to write regular posts for inclusion in your site.  We can set you up with a blog page if you decide that this is something you require.  Just include a note to this effect when you contact us, and we’ll do the rest.

Of course, even with great SEO, you’ll still need to employ robust marketing strategies to give your business a boost.  That includes increasing your social media presence – something else we can help you with – again, just let us know this is something you’re interested in when you get in touch.

What are your terms of business?
  • We aim to complete Package Websites within 30 days to two months, so we recommend that you have your content and images ready to go as soon as possible.  Naturally, the more customisations and extra pages you opt for, the longer the project is likely to take.  We will, of course, include a clear indication of the time frame for completion in the design brief.
  • Once your website goes live, we provide site maintenance free-of-charge for the first three months.  Only after the expiration of this period will your monthly credit card deductions commence.
  • You’re welcome to cancel at any time, but please note that this will result in your site being deactivated, and your domain registration will lapse if you do not renew it.
